The BJP will be a part of the next government formed in Jammu and Kashmir, senior party leader Ram Madhav said today, noting that the "jinx" of having never been in power in the state had been broken.
The remarks by Madhav, who is in-charge of the party's affairs in the state, came months after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pulled out of its alliance with the PDP in Jammu and Kashmir.
