The home called 'SHINE' is opened in association with the Spain based JAL, a non-governmental organisation, which had engaged in various healthrelated projects including leprosy, a release from the JIPMER said today.
The home for the cancer affected children is a facility to enable the cancer affected children to stay at a place so that they could come daily for treatment.
The home would provide food besides facilitatating to continue education during the course of treatment to the children, it said.
