JIPMER to hold interactive session on alcoholism, tobacco

The Centrally sponsored Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) would hold interactive session on alcoholism and tobacco addiction on July 14.
Director of JIPMER S C Parija said in a release here today that the interactive session would be held in Tamil and as part of the institute's initiative to promote health education.
Medical experts and doctors from Departments of Psychiatry and Preventive and Social Medicine would explain the various risks arising out of addiction to alcoholism and tobacco at the meeting. They would also clarify all doubts and answer queries from the audience.
