JIPMER to launch "Health education for all" programme
Press Trust of India Puducherry Jawharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), a centrally sponsored medical institution here, today said it has evolved a programme 'Health Education for all' to improve awareness among the public on health and diseases.
Director of JIPMER S C Parija said in a release that the programme would be held on interactive basis every second and fourth Tuesdays among the public, the patients and their care givers.
The programme was aimed at building knowledge among the public and also to provide preventive care and treatment of common illness.
The first meeting would be held tomorrow at the Super Speciality Block in JIPMER.
The theme for tomorrow's interactive session is 'diabetes: how can I manage it myself', he said.
