"The report contains five performance audits and 23 paragraphs involving Rs 795 Crores relating to excess, wasteful, unfruitful expenditure, fraudulent drawals, blocking of funds in the state", Accountant General Khalid bin Jamal told reporters here today.
Asked whether he has recommended a probe into it, Jamal said "it is the state government to take a call on it. It is not my duty to recommend probe. We have put the report before the State Legislature. It is now the duty of the government to take necessary steps".
