The company had reported a net profit of Rs 25.28 crore in the April-June period of the last fiscal.
In a filing to the BSE, the company said its net sales rose to Rs 130.41 crore during the first quarter of the 2014-15 financial year from Rs 126.25 crore in the year-ago.

The expenses remained slighly higher at Rs 91.57 crore as against Rs 87.44 crore in the review period.
The shares of the company closed at Rs 500.95 apiece on the BSE today.
