JK announces winter vacations for schools from Nov 24

Jammu and Kashmir government today declared winter vacations for the government and private recognised schools of Kashmir Division from November 24 to February 23, 2015.
The school Education Department has ordered that the winter vacations of the government and private recognised schools of Kashmir Division and Winter Zones of Jammu Division would begin from November 24 till February 23, 2015 for schools upto middle standard, an official spokesman said.
For High and Higher Secondary schools, the vacation has been ordered from December 8 upto February 23 next year, he said.
