JK Governor urges youths to join scout and guide activities

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra today stressed the need for enlarging the resource base to bring more youth of the state under the ambit of scout and guide activities.
"There is a need for giving a significant boost to the activities of scouts and guides movement in the state to bring a much larger number of youth under its ambit", Vohra said.
He was addressing the 8th 'Rajya Puraskar' ceremony held at Raj Bhavan here today.
The Governor, who is also the Patron of J&K State Bharat Scouts and Guides, presented awards to 199 successful scouts and guides of the Jammu division, and wished them bright careers ahead.
