The government has also accepted the resignations of Additional Advocate General Mehfooz Nazki and Ehsan Mirza, and Deputy Advocate General Faraz Iqbal, an official spokesman said.
All of them had submitted their resignation to the government last week.
All other law officers of the state, who have shown their willingness to continue, have been formally asked by the government to continue with their assigned duties, he said.
To ensure that no government case goes unheared, the government has redistributed the litigation work earlier assigned to the law officers, whose resignations have been accepted, he added.
