JK govt asks employees to contribute one day's salary to CMRF

Jammu and and Kashmir government has requested all state government to contribute one day's salary to the Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund.
"In order to express solidarity with the flood affected people and to provide succor to them, all the employees of the state government, including the members of the All India Services, are requested to contribute one day's salary to the CM's Flood Relief Fund", an official spokesman said.
The Drawing and Disbursing officers will collect the contributions and deposit them in the said Account, he said.
The contributions are voluntary and it is expected that all the employees will rise to the occasion and contribute to the flood relief sund, spokesman said.
"For this purpose, an account has been opened with the Jammu and Kashmir Bank, with the following details Chief Minister's Flood Relief Fund, J&K Bank, Branch (Moving) Secretariat, Srinagar, Account No. 0110040100001275 IFSC Code: JAKA0MOVING," the spokesman said.
