JK govt introduces paramedical council bill in Assembly

Jammu and Kashmir government today introduced a bill in the state Assembly to establish a paramedical council and to regulate the practice by paramedical practitioners and institutions in the state.
Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din introduced the bill to establish a paramedical council and to regulate the practice by paramedical practitioners and institutions in the state.
The bill is aimed to establish a paramedical technicians council for fixing the minimum educational standards of paramedical technicians and for giving approval to the courses of study and examinations and for granting approval to the institutions conducting such courses and for maintaining a register of paramedical technicians in the state.
The bill would replace the Jammu and Kashmir Paramedical Council Ordinance 2013.
