"The state government machinery was misused by ruling coalition and every effort was made to lure the Panches to vote in favour of candidates belonging to parties of ruling coalition", BJP State spokesperson & media incharge for the election Nirmal Kamal told reporters here this evening.

Though expressing optimism about the success of its candidates, Kamal suspected foul play at the behest of government machinery to favour NC and Congress candidates.

She alleged BJP has received dozens of complaints of booth capturing, active involvement of Gram Sevaks and BDOs and other officials, in open violation of the Model Code of Conduct.

Top of it Manohar Lal, Minister for Cooperatives organised a "langer" in a temple within 50 yards of polling station, she alleged.

She claimed that in areas like Nyom, Mangts and Tishot in Ladakh and Marwah, Dacchhan, Wadvar which are well known difficult areas without proper road facility, 100 percent polling is not possible without unfair means.
