The tournament was organised by All India Handball Federation in memory of the renowned international handball player from Jammu, Raizada Perhald Bali and was played at Mini sports Stadium Parade this afternoon, officials said.
As many as 13 teams across the country participated in the tournament, they said.
Addressing the gathering, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Nawang Rigzin Jora, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that the government is keen to boost sporting activities in the state.
It is a good sign that more and more youths are participating in sporting activities, the minister added.

Jora said the state has ample sports potential for which the government has taken various initiatives to exploit it.
He said the government will provide assistance to those groups who will come forward to boost the sporting activities in the state.
He said various central and state sponsored schemes are under implementation for promotion of sporting activities in the state.
