JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd Tuesday reported a multi-fold jump in consolidated net profit of Rs 53.75 crore for the first quarter ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 3.12 crore in the April-June quarter a year ago, JK Lakshmi Cement (JKLC) said in a BSE filing.
Its total income during the quarter under review rose 8.56 per cent to Rs 1,141.92 crore, as against Rs 1,051.82 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Total expenses stood at Rs 1,037 crore compared to Rs 1,055 crore, down 1.70 per cent.
Shares of JK Lakshmi Cement settled at Rs 338.75 on the BSE, up 0.74 per cent from previous close.
