JLS member Oritse Williams said the two bands could be getting together next year, reported Daily Star.
"I've already said to Niall and Liam I'm looking forward to getting a track written together. It could happen next year," Williams said.
Besides Williams, JLS members include Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Aston Merrygold while One Direction members are Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.
