Diversified financial firm JM Financial Friday reported a marginal decline of 2.1 per cent in its net profit to Rs 194.39 crore during the first quarter ended June 30.
The company's net profit was Rs 199.23 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
Its total income during the June 2019 quarter increased to Rs 856.57 crore, compared with Rs 852.47 crore a year ago, JM Financial said in a regulatory filing.
JM Financial is engaged in investment banking, wealth management and securities business, mortgage lending and asset management, among others.
Shares of the company traded 3.89 per cent lower at Rs 69.25 apiece on the BSE.
