JMRC plans to begin metro operations by March next

Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation plans to commence the first phase of commercial operation of the Jaipur Metro from Mansarover to Chandpole in March next year.
The commercial operation of the Jaipur Metro Rail would begin in March next year, JMRC CMD Nihal Chand Goel said.
The Corporation has obtained safety certificate from Independent Safety Assessor and necessary permission from Commissioner of Railway Safety and the operations will start after completing other formalities.
Chairing a board meeting here, Goel said the JMRC was in the process to complete other remaining works so that the Metro rail could be started under the revised deadline.

The meeting was attended by directors Ashok Jain, Manjit Singh, Ashwini Saxena, JMRC Director (Project) C S Jeengar and others, a release said.
