The leaders submitted a memorandum to the LG and urged him to inquire into the incident at JNU campus.
"In the meeting, we discussed deteriorating law and order situation that has emerged after anti-India slogans were raised at the university. We also demanded the arrest of the guilty in the incident," Delhi BJP president Satish Upadhyay, who was vice president of DUSU in 1982, said.
Upadhyay said the delegation also requested the LG to take steps for resumption of studies in JNU.
JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested on February 12 in a sedition case in connection with an event at JNU last week to protest the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru where anti-India slogans were allegedly raised.
