Supporting the JNU Vice Chancellor's idea to procure and install a tank on the varsity campus, Lekhi had yesterday in Lok Sabha said JNU students must take an oath to protect the country's pride and nationality.
She also alleged that anti-India slogans were raised on the JNU campus, which was run by tax-payer's money.
Taking note of BJP leaders welcoming the VC's request to install a tank in the campus, JNUSU wondered if the VC was a member of the saffron party.
