Job aspirant dies during physical fitness test

A job aspirant died today while undergoing physical fitness test as part of the selection process conducted by the Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) in Barpeta district, police said.
The youth, identified as 28-year-old Nayanjyoti Talukdar, collapsed while running at Ramrai stadium where the tests were being conducted.
He was taken to Barpeta Medical College Hospital where he was declared brought dead, the sources said.
Talukdar was one of the 400 candidates appearing for tests for the 59 posts of assistant in APDCL.
