Job fair for people with disabilities

In a bid to bring qualitative changes in lives of people with disabilities (PwDs), an NGO is organising a job fair for such persons here this week here.
The organisers--Sahrudaya--Welfare Services Ernakulam-- said 'Discover Ability' is a unique programme intended to bring together the employers and PwDs on a common platform and to facilitate employability of the educated and deserving people among them.
The fair is scheduled for two days on January 28 and 29.
The first day is to train and prepare candidates for the job fair and second day for recruitment by the respective companies.
"We hope that more than 200 educated PwDs participate from Kerala in this state level event and it would provide them with opportunities to get employed", Fr Paul Cherupilly, Executive Director, WSE said.

He also sought support from various organisations to make the event successful.
