"The job market seems to be looking up in terms of creation of job opportunities in the second half of 2015," said Sumeet Singh, EVP - Marketing and Corporate Communications, Info Edge (India), which runs job portal Naukri.Com.
Sectorally, growth in hiring activity was led by BFSI and IT industries and is most likely to continue in favour of jobseekers, Singh said, adding that the rise in opportunities has led to higher increments in certain industry segments.
Other than salary, factors like location and work-life balance were also cited as the main reasons for professionals changing jobs.
On talent crunch, the survey said that the maximum talent crunch was felt in the experience bracket of 4-8 years, followed by professionals with an experience of 1-3 years by 42 per cent and 28 per cent of recruiters, respectively.
