Organised by the Film Society of Jodhpur, the festival will be celebrating the youth and will have the same as its theme.
Justice Vineet Kothari will be inaugurating the festival on May 21 and Ritwa Haujikarvi, the Counsellor of the Embassy of Finland will be present as a representative of the European Union.
"There will be an screening of 19 films, most of them awarded in International Films Festivals, in total 18 days from May 21 to June 7," said the Secretary of the Society, Mohan Swaroop Maheshwari.
Referring to the theme of the festival, Maheshwari said that the rise of youth power across the globe could not be ignored.

"And hence all the 19 films to be screened in the festival will have stories of youth and will highlight their dreams, passions, achievements, frustration, pain, joy, fear and their ability to stand up facing the odds," said Maheshwari.
This is for the second time, that a small town like Jodhpur has a privilege as a screening venue by the European Union for its films.
