Joe Carnahan to write, direct "Motorcade"

Joe Carnahan has been signed on to write and direct upcoming action thriller "Motorcade".
The story centres on a Secret Service agent who fails to prevent an attack that occurs on the president of the United States and his motorcade, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are executive producing.
Carnahan, 45, is known for his gritty thrillers such as "Narc", "Smokin' Aces" and "The Grey", the latter a surprise 2011 hit starring Liam Neeson. He also helmed the big-screen version of "The A-Team".
