Johnny Depp files USD 25 M fraud lawsuit

Hollywood star Johnny Depp has sued his business managers at the The Management Group (TMG) for USD 25 million dollars.
The 53-year-old actor filed a lawsuit for being victimised by a serious case of bad accounting on their part, reported Deadline.
The court complaint read, "As a result of years of gross mismanagement and sometimes outright fraud, Mr Depp lost tens of millions of dollars and has been forced to dispose of significant assets to pay for TMG's self-dealing and gross misconduct."
The "Pirates of the Carribean" star is asking for over USD 25 million through his complaint where he has alleged fraud among, any other claims which include breach of contract and professional negligence.

Depp has also alleged that the management firm is moving to foreclose on his primary property by using the loan he claims has come from the company itself.
Earlier on Friday, Depp's divorce from Amber Heard was finalised, after which it has been decided the actor will keep all of his real estate holdings.
