The 'Castle' actor will appear in the HBO crime drama as powerful businessman Glenn Ellinger, Deadline reported.
He joins lead stars Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams in the second season, which focuses on the aftermath of a murder and a conspiracy that follows.
Lindstrom's other credits include 'General Hospital', 'As The World Turns' and 'Santa Barbara'.
Kelly Reilly, Christian Campbell and Leven Rambin have also been cast in the anthology series in recent weeks.
Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson starred in the first season as Detectives Rust Cohle and Marty Hart.
