The 30-year-old actor, nominated for Oscar's Best actor in supporting role, said he would have done anything to play Leonardo DiCaprio's sidekick in the movie about the exploits of a hedonistic stock-broker, reported Daily Star.
"They gave me the lowest amount of money possible, that was their offer," Hill said.
"And I said, 'I will sign the paper tonight. Fax me the papers tonight. I want to sign them tonight before they change their mind," the actor said.
Released in December, 'The Wolf of Wall Street' has received five Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor nomination for Hill.
