Hundreds of journalists of the print and electronic media today took out a silent morcha, wearing black-badges, through the main streets of Nashik.
The morcha was for various demands including a law for protection of journalists, making the offence of attack on journalists a non-bailable one and fast track trial of such cases, said Yshwant Pawar, president of Nashik zilla patrakar sangh.
