The latest issue of the official journal of the Nair Service Society (NSS) said assumption of power by Modi has boosted the expectations of the people across the country under a stable regime at the Centre.
"Modi has proved his administrative abilities by leading the government in Gujarat marked by a style of functioning of his own. So, the mandate secured by him could be considered as recognition of his abilities by people," NSS' Malayalam fortnightly "Service" said in an editorial comment.
In its editorial, Yoganadam termed as the "first goal" of the new government the presence of SAARC leaders including Pakistan Prime Minister Nawas Sherif at its installation.
Recalling the bitter campaign unleashed by rivals against Modi, it said he can now be really proud of the victory he has clinched overcoming all hurdles on his path.
