Traders said increased industrial demand in the face of limited arrivals from producing regions mainly attributed the rise in jowar prices.
In the national capital, jowar white traded higher by Rs 100 to Rs 3,000-3,100, while jowar yellow held steady at Rs 1,600-1,700 per quintal, respectively.
