CMD and owner of JSPL Naveen Jindal told this to Chief Minister Nabam Tuki during a meeting at New Delhi yesterday, official sources said.
The chief minister along with Marina Nido, chairperson of Arunachal Pradesh State Social Welfare Board, met Jindal and requested several proposals for overall development in the area that was earlier submitted to him by Subansiri Power Project Local Implementation Committee.
In a positive response to the demands in the memorandum, Jindal agreed to the proposals for establishment of a polytechnic besides a multipurpose hall and a hospital, sources said.
Jindal also assured Tuki that JSPL would adopt a government school in Raga assembly constituency and develop the same on its own, sources added.
