A conference to chart out a strategy against growing fundamentalism will be held here tomorrow by the Jamiat Ulama-Hind (JUH), Madhya Pradesh.
"JUH General Secretary Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani will grace the conference and a blue-print will be prepared to fight the communal forces that are spreading hatred against minorities," JUH Madhya Pradesh President Haji Mohammad Haroon told reporters here today.
"The minorities are under threat due to growing fundamentalism that needs to be checked. It is enough now," Haji Haroon said.
He said that delegates from across country, especially from Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, will take part in the conference. Many delegates have already arrived in the city to take part in the event that is being held by our century-old organization, Haji Haroon said.
State JUH President said that they have invited religious heads from Buddhist, Jain and other communities.
Haji Haroon said that they want tough action against fundamentalists and such groups spreading and dividing the society. "We want that they should be jailed. They don't have a place in a civilized society," he said.

"These people are not only enemy of society, but also of the nation. If communal disharmony prevails, development will take a back seat," he added.
He said that JUH had fought Britishers during pre-independence era. "We have also opposed the partition of India. Now we are going to wage a war against fundamental forces to keep the country united," he added.
In the past, we have issued 'fatwas' against the scourge of terrorism. "We find organisations and people spreading hatred more deadly than terror outfits and terrorists," he added.
