Taking a jibe at SP supremo, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged that a local goon was behind the clash who had patronage of a senior minister from "Mulayam Singh Yadav Pvt Ltd".
A party delegation led by Singh will also visit Mathura tomorrow.
24 people, including an SP and an SHO, have been killed in yesterday's massive clash between police and members of a sect who had encroached on government land in Mathura, even as tension prevailed in the area with police seizing a large cache of munition from the site and arresting 320 people even as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has ordered an inquiry.
"Uttar Pradesh is witnessing 'gunda' and 'maifa raj' ever since Samajwadi Party has come to power. Chief Miniister Akhilesh Yadav should not waste even a minute and tender his resignation," Singh said.
He said ever since the SP has come to power in the state, Uttar Pradesh has witnessed over 600 cases of riots.
"The AAP too has demanded eviction of illegal occupants from the land and this has not been done despite the orders from the High Court," Singh added.
