Movie studio Universal Pictures has announced the official title for the long-awaited fourth installment in the dinosaur adventure franchise, reported Deadline.
The movie will be directed by Colin Trevorrow based on a script he drafted with screenwriter Derek Connolly.
"Jurassic World" was originally set for release in June 2014 but was delayed by Universal in order to allow more time to develop the film's script, while casting is thought to have taken longer than expected, also.
Steven Spielberg's original "Jurassic Park" was released in 1993 to critical acclaim and spawned a 1997 sequel, "The Lost World".
Trevorrow recently indicated he wants to introduce new dinosaurs to the movie's prehistoric line-up, while it's been rumoured that underwater creatures may feature in the film.
