JUSCO bags Innovation with Impact Award 2014

Jamshedpur Utility and Services Company (Jusco), a 100 per cent subsidiary of Tata Steel, won the Innovation with Impact Award 2014 for Power Distribution Management Category organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
The award was given during the 8th India Energy Summit held in New Delhi recently, according to Jusco release here today.
Ashish Mathur, managing director, JUSCO along with Sharad Kumar, Senior GM (Power Services Division and Customer Relationship Management) received the award from Neerja Mathur, chairperson, Central Electricity Authority, Government of India.
The Award was primarily introduced to acknowledge and reward power distribution companies that have taken new and positive steps to increase system efficiency and manage the supply-demand situation more effectively.

These awards provide a platform to highlight leading examples of innovative and sustainable practices and performance to inspire and motivate others to adopt similar policies and practices and transparently communicate on their performance, the release added.
