The 18-year-old 'Baby' hitmaker impressed National Hockey League farm team the Bakersfield Condors and they have reached out to see if he would like to take up the sport for the upcoming 2012-13 season, reported Femalefirst online.

"Very rarely do you see this combination of skill and toughness. We share a common Canadian heritage since we both hail from Ontario," Matt O'Dette, head coach said.

"I've scouted some video of him online skating with my hometown team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and I think he could provide some elusive speed up front for us. Plus, he's a right-handed shot, which we've been looking to add," he added.

Meanwhile, the team's General Manager Matt Riley has contacted Bieber's manager Scooter Braun and is hopeful that he will consider their offer.
