A juvenile has been apprehended from southeast Delhi's Madangir area when he was allegedly looking for a man to take revenge on him for inflicting injuries to his legs two years ago, police said today.
Two country-made pistols and as many live cartridges were also recovered from possession of the 16-year-old, who was apprehended yesterday, a senior police official said.
According to police, the juvenile was on a lookout for Sunny, who had attacked him in 2014 and broke his both legs, after the teenager refused to the join his gang.
"After the attack, the juvenile was unable to walk properly as metal rods had to be inserted in both his legs to restore his mobility," he said.
The juvenile was considered a "priced possession" for the criminal gangs and Sunny wanted him to be a part of his gang but the juvenile wanted to work alone, he added.
"During questioning, the juvenile confessed allegedly involved in three murder and attempt to murder cases in south and southeast districts, including one registered in Ned Sarai police station in which a man, Hemraj had been murdered and buried in a forest," the official said, adding action under relevent sections of Arms Act has been taken against him.
