"We decided to work together in and outside Parliament against the anti-people policies of the Centre. The people of Jharkhand are fully behind Mamata Banerjee," JVM(P) chief Babulal Marandi, who met the West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo told reporters after the meeting.
Trinamool Congress All-India general secretary Mukul Roy said that the two parties decided to have floor coordination in parliament.
Stating that the entire country was protesting against the 'anti-people policies' of the UPA government, Marandi said, "none had the guts to withdraw support to the UPA government like Mamata Banerjee."
The JVM(P) which has two MPs in the Lok Sabha withdrew support to the UPA government on October 1 against the big ticket reforms of the Centre.
The Trinamool Congress with 19 MPs in the Lok Sabha had withdrawn support to the UPA government on September 21 on the same issue.
