Among the four candidates for the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland, former chief minister and Congress nominee K L Chishi is the richest candidate with movable and immovable assets worth Rs 36 crore.
According to the affidavits filed during the nomination, Chishi's movable and immovable assets are worth Rs 36,97,11,350 while NDPP nominee, Tokheho Yepthomi has movable assets worth Rs 33,20,732 and immovable assets of Rs 5.66 crore.
Yepthomi is seeking re-election for the second term. He had won the by-election after then MP and present Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio vacated the seat to return to state politics in February 2018.
Independent candidate, Dr M M Thromwa Konyak has movable assets worth Rs 50,000 and immovable assets of Rs 5,50,000.
NPP candidate Hayithung Tungoe alias Bill Lotha has movable assets worth Rs 3,65,881. He does not have any immovable assets as per the documents filed by him.
In the by-poll to the Aonglenden seat in Mokokchung district, NDPP nominee Sharingain Longkumer's movable and immovable assets are Rs 6,68,33,3500.
