Kabli gram, arhar move up on speculative buying

Prices of kabuli gram and arhar climbed up to Rs 500 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on speculative buying.
However, urad and its dal ended lower on muted demand.
Traders attributed the rise in kabuli gram and arhar prices on speculative buying activity.
Meanwhile, CCEA decides to raise buffer stock of pulses to 20 lakh tones.
In the national capital, kabuli gram small variety edged higher to Rs 9,000-9,700 from previous level of Rs 8,800-9,200 per quintal.
Arhar and its dal dara variety also traded higher by Rs 150 and Rs 200 to Rs 6,750 and Rs 9,500-11,200 per quintal respectively.
On the other hand, urad eased to Rs 7,500-9,100 against last close of Rs 8,000-9,100 per quintal. Its dal chilka local,best quality and dhoya traded lower by Rs 200 each to Rs 8,000-8,100, Rs 8,100-8,600 and Rs 8,500-8,800 per quintal respectively.
