However, urad, masoor and malka ended lower on slackened demand.
Traders said stockists buying supported by uptick in demand from retailers against restricted supplies from producing regions, mainly pushed up kabuli gram and rajmah chitra.
In the national capital, kabuli gram small variety and rajmah chitra were quoted higher by Rs 100 each to Rs 9,300- 10,500 and Rs 7,700-10,500 per quintal, respectively.
On the other hand, urad and its dal chilka local fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,700-5,600 and Rs 4,800-4,900 per quintal, respectively. Urad best quality and dhoya traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 4,900-5,400 and Rs 5,300-5,500 per quintal.

Malka local and best quality shed Rs 50 each to Rs 4,300 -4,500 and Rs 4,400-4,600 per quintal.
