'Kahani' festival for school children on Nov 10-11 in Jaipur
Press Trust of India Jaipur To revive and preserve the art of story telling, a two-day 'Kahani' festival will be organised at a school here with organisers claiming that over 10,000 students are expected to take part in the event.
The second edition of 'Kahani' festival, which will start on November 10, is aimed at enchanting and empowering audiences, according to the organisors.
"It explores a multitude of narratives from India and around the world," Sanjoy Roy, Managing Director of Teamwork Arts told reporters here.
It will become a part of the creative process that evolves when story tellers animate their dreams, imaginations, beliefs, fears, alongside listeners of all ages, he said.
"In the first edition held last year in Jaipur about 7,000 students of private schools attended the festival and now about 10,000 students will take part in different sessions," he said.
