Kairali Airlines, a low cost private sector airline from Kerala, will commence operations from November 1, a top official said.
The plan was to start flight services connecting Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode airports to Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Mangalore and Lakshadweep with aircraft which would be purchased or leased, Chairman and Managing director of the airline K K Praveen Kumar told reporters here yesterday.
He said they were also planning to tie up with an international carrier for operations to Gulf nations.
The Rs 350 crore airline project would offer domestic service with fares at least 25 per cent lower than other services, he said.
