Kalpataru bags orders worth Rs 809 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) today said that it has secured new orders worth Rs 809 crore.
KPTL has bagged a turnkey project (under JV) for construction of 400 KV transmission line in East Africa, KPTL said adding that it has a share worth Rs 522 crore in the order.
It has got two transmission line supply projects for Vindhyachal-Jabalpur Transmission line of Rs 176 crore from from Powergrid Jabalpur Transmission Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PGCIL.
The company has also got a Rs 111- crore turnkey project for construction of 220 KV and 132 KV substations, transmission lines and feeder bay from Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Ltd.
KPTL Managing Director Manish Mohnot said, "We have started the year with strong order inflows of around Rs 2,000 crore in the first quarter till date. Considering good order backlog created during last year and these inflows, we have very good visibility for next 2 years."

At present, the company is executing several contracts in India, Africa, Middle East, Australia, CIS, SAARC, North America and Far East.
