Senior police inspector R D Malekar of the Kalwa police station told PTI that the police spotted the body of the teenager, Bharat Suresh Rathod, this morning.
As luck would have it, there was a CCTV camera installed at the location and the police spotted chawl owner Suresh Anandrav Mankawde (47) near the body between 1.20 and 2.30 am in the CCTV footage.
The motive behind the killing is yet to be known, the police said.
