"I request TDP government not to use 'Land Acquisition Act' on unwilling farmers of multi cropped land in capital region," Kalyan posted on Twitter.
Earlier, during his visit to the capital region in Guntur in March this year, the actor had threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike if the government tries to "forcibly" acquire land from farmers for setting up the new state capital Amravathi.

The government had earlier said it has got consent letters from farmers for taking over over 32,000 acres required for construction of new capital on 'land pooling' basis.
Kalyan, who was a staunch supporter of the Telugu Desam-BJP combine during the last elections, had recently criticised MPs from the state for "not doing enough" to get special status for the state.
His remarks earned wrath of some TDP MPs.
