The estate in-charge Pratap Santra and Admission Committee chairperson Prof Sujata Chowdhury were beaten up and injured by the agitators this morning, the police said.
They were demanding the resignation of Vice-Chancellor Rattan Lal Hangloo claiming that the results of ten thousand undergraduate students of colleges affiliated to the University were declared as 'incomplete' a month ago.
Hangloo rubbished the claims saying, "The incomplete results of 380 students are being processed and would be declared soon."
"The agitators damaged CCTV cameras and furniture of the university. The police and Education Minister Partha Chatterjee have been informed," he said.
