The firm's total standalone income, however fell to Rs 184.50 crore in the July-September quarter this fiscal from Rs 221.60 crore during the same quarter in 2015-16, it said in a BSE filing.
Its total expenses were lower at Rs 181.80 crore from Rs 215.40 crore during the period under review.
Commenting on the performance, Kamdhenu Chairman Satish Agarwal in a statement said: "Amidst the slowdown in the construction sector we managed to increase our net profit. It is an evidence of the company's abilities of using the resources better."
The firm reported a half-yearly net profit Rs 42.40 crore compared to Rs 33.5 crore last year of same period. In spite of adverse market conditions of real estate and infrastructure projects, company has done impressive business, Agarwal said.
