At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, kapas for delivery this month dipped by Rs 17, or 2.09 per cent to Rs 798 per 20 kg with an open interest of 60 lots.
Also, kapas for delivery in most-active April contracts fell by Rs 5.50, or 0.68 per cent to Rs 802 per 20 kg, revealing an open interest of 18,524 lots.
Marketmen said offloading of positions by participants amidst a weak trend at the physical markets, mainly led to the fall in kapas prices.
