Kapur (70), Chiragh (68) and Chikkarangappa (72) were all tied for eighth at three-under 141 and three shots behind the leading trio of Korean Yikeun Chang (72-66) and the Thai duo of Natipong Srithong (71-67) and Danthai Boonma (69-69).
The leaders were six-under-par 138 at the USD 300,000 Asian Tour event.
Meanwhile, four other Indians made the halfway cut and none were more prominent than Himmat Rai, who overcame his first round 76 with a 67 and Sujjan Singh, who rebounded from a 79 with a 68 in second.
Shubhankar Sharma (76-73), Rashid Khan (75-76), Arjun Prasad (79-72) and Honey Baisoya (82-72) missed the cut.

Kapur with five birdies and three bogeys liked the way he was hitting.
"Given the conditions it (the score) was pretty good. I think I played a little better then what my score would suggest. I left a couple of shots out there, which is a bit disappointing. Tee to green I was solid and I gave myself some chances," he said.
Chikka had three birdies and four bogeys, while Chiragh, who opened birdie-birdie had seven in all against three bogeys. Himmat had six birdies and just one bogey.
